AIM for SEVA

Poised to become a global economic power, India is faced with an ironical challenge – while on one the hand India is prospering leads and bounds, on the other there is a sizeable population, which is untouched by the ripples of prosperity. Child labor abounds due to abject poverty of the less privileged, those living in urban slums, rural and tribal areas. The ever-widening gap between the mainstream and the marginalized has become a silent emergency.

Bridging this gap is the calling of AIM for SEVA (AIM). An All India Movement for "People to care for People", AIM's approach is based on providing education in an environment that breeds and nurtures inherent talent.

Glen Abbey Golf Course - Oakville

The Glen Abbey Golf Club course was opened in 1976 and attracts golfers from around the world. Located in Oakville, Ontario Canada this golf course last hosted the Canadian Open in 2009. Originally designed by Jack Nicklaus ("the Golden Bear"), this 18 hole regulation size golf course is nestled amid the beauty of Sixteen Mile Creek.

Some of the classic features of this relatively difficult and high end golf course include descending into the "valley holes" beginning with the 12th tee. There in the valley of the beautiful 16 Mile Creek, the course is in it's most natural setting. Some of the memorable plays on this course included Tiger Woods getting himself out of the bunker on the 18th hole with a 218 yard setup with his 6-iron for birdie for the Canadian Open victory, and where Vijay Singh edged out Mike Weir.

Facilities include the putting and chipping green, driving range, restaurant, golf academy and golf lessons, club rentals and even banquet facilities, meeting and seminar rooms. Learn more...
